Ecosystem Assessment & ManagementWe have over 30 years combined experience assessing aquatic ecosystems, including: • biodiversity of aquatic flora and fauna • environmental values • ecological condition / health • mosquito and midge assessment and management plans • listed or iconic species and their habitats • fish passage and habitat value • threatened ecological communities, and • environmental variables including water and sediment quality.
Our Principal Ecologist, Lauren Thorburn is a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP).
Monitoring Program Design, Implementation and Review
We have designed, implemented and peer reviewed scientific monitoring programs, particularly receiving environment monitoring programs (REMPs). We focus on delivering monitoring programs that are based on sound statistical principles, so they will be scientifically robust and defensible.
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
We have substantial previous experience, having worked on over 50 EIAs, including: • completion of specialist technical studies to support environmental impact statements (EIS) • peer review of technical studies • development of environmental management plans (EMPs), and • studies to support amendments to existing environmental authorities (EAs) or development approvals (DAs)
