Ecosystem Restoration

At ESP, our staff are passionate and experienced in ecosystem restoration, including works required for biodiversity offsets. Services include:
• rehabilitation of estuarine and coastal wetland systems, including transplantation of seagrass, mangroves and saltmarsh
• reinstatement of fish passage and fish habitats in freshwater and estuarine systems
• rehabilitation of freshwater ecosystems including bank stabilisation and provision of in-stream habitat
• fauna salvage operations, ranging from small freshwater stream diversions to marine fauna salvage operations for large-scale coastal development, &
• design and monitoring of artificial reefs.
